Green Corridor
A vital green corridor runs between Tenterden and Bodiam along the Kent & East Sussex Railway line. We have been working with K&ESR to help enhance and preserve its important wildlife.
Find out more about the Green Corridor conservation work in an article by Keith Barron here.

Film Screening
Our fundraising film screening of Wildling on 8th February was a huge success.
We packed out the beautiful Woolpack barn with a full house. It was an inspiring and uplifting evening and a chance for us to showcase our part of the wildling movement.
Hundreds of pounds were raised and will go towards our exciting projects in 2025. Watch this space!
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us.
Special thanks to our generous hosts, the Woolpack, and our sponsors, olson.

Going Chemical-free
We have taken a big step towards our ambition to omit all chemical spraying on local green spaces by securing agreement from KCC, TTC and ABC to omit chemical spraying to green areas within the town centre.
Our ongoing focus is to expand this to secondary roads. Volunteers are collecting evidence to support alternative strategies and we are awaiting results from a KCC pilot using nature-friendly alternatives.
Find out more about the broader issues of pesticide use in UK towns here.

Wildflower Sowing
The team have been busy at Tenterden Golf Course sowing wildflower seeds.
The wildflowers will not only look beautiful come spring and summer, but critically, they will provide vital food for local pollinator populations.
If you’d like to volunteer for our next planting day then get in touch! We’d love to hear from you.
If you have time for nature, join us.
We need brilliant volunteers like you to help support local wildlife projects. Get in touch today to find out more about the difference you could make.
