Wildflower Sowing
The team have been busy at Tenterden Golf Course sowing wildflower seeds.
The wildflowers will not only look beautiful come spring and summer, but critically, they will provide vital food for local pollinator populations.
If you’d like to volunteer for our next planting day then get in touch! We’d love to hear from you.

Clean Water March
Last year, raw sewage was discharged for more than 3.6m hours into rivers and seas by England’s water companies. At the same time, mass deaths of fish in rivers have increased almost tenfold since 2020.
We joined the March for Clean Water alongside 15,000 water lovers to tell parliament and the polluters that we demand CLEAN WATER, NOW!

Wild Celebrations
The town had a double celebration at St Mildred’s Church with the Mayor, Councillor Ferguson. Celebrating the Neighbourhood Plan being voted in, which will protect 9 local green spaces and enhance biodiversity. As well as receiving a Gold Wilder Kent from Kent Wildlife Trust.
A huge well done to everyone involved with the Neighbourhood Plan and the Wilder Kent Award.

Crocus Bulbs
The Tenterden Wildlife team were delighted to receive a bag of ‘purple giant' crocus bulbs from the Rotary Club of Tenterden.
We are incredibly grateful for their generous donation.
We're looking forward to plating them around the town to provide vital food for pollinators come spring.
